Welcome to Workace. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, website, and services (collectively, "Platform"). By accessing or using Workace, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Overview

Workace connects businesses ("Clients") with independent professionals ("Consultants") for project-based work. We provide tools for communication, project management, and secure payment, but we do not employ or control Consultants.

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You agree not to impersonate others or create fake accounts.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to:

Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.

Not post or share misleading, harmful, or offensive content.

Not use the Platform to solicit services unrelated to project collaboration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Projects and Communication

Clients may post projects or browse and book Consultants directly.

All communication related to projects must be conducted via the Workace Platform (e.g., ticketing, chat, or session booking).

Consultants agree to deliver work in a professional and timely manner.

5. Payments and Fees

Workace uses an escrow payment system. Clients fund a project before work begins, and funds are released once the work is approved.

Workace charges a service fee, which may be deducted from Consultant earnings or included in Client pricing.

Refunds may be issued in disputes, subject to Workace’s dispute resolution process.

6. Consultant Responsibilities

Consultants are independent contractors, not employees of Workace.

You are responsible for your own taxes, business registrations, and compliance with applicable laws.

You must deliver work as agreed in your project terms.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients must clearly define project scope, timelines, and expectations.

You agree to fund projects before work begins and release payment upon satisfactory completion.

In case of disputes, you agree to cooperate with Workace’s resolution process.

8. Dispute Resolution

Workace offers a basic mediation process for project disputes. We will review communications, project scope, and deliverables before making a decision. Our decision is final and binding.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, the Client owns the final deliverables once payment is made.

Consultants retain rights to their pre-existing materials and tools.

10. Limitation of Liability

Workace is not liable for:

Consultant or Client performance or conduct

Any damages or losses arising from use of the Platform

Errors, delays, or interruptions beyond our control

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid to Workace for the relevant transaction.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform. Users may close their account at any time via their dashboard.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
